Depureco offers the Puma series as part of their medium-large power three-phase industrial vacuum range. These vacuums feature high-quality, double-stage side channel blowers manufactured in Italy, ensuring a maximum flow rate of 1500 CFM for exceptional airflow. The vacuum breaker safety valve is a standard feature. With a tangential intake design and a sturdy cyclone welded inside the filter chamber, the Puma vacuums guarantee excellent efficiency, even when dealing with the finest dust particles. This design protects the filter from the materials being vacuumed by reducing speed and directing the material into the container through friction generated by the cyclone.
The Puma vacuums utilize Class M high grammage polyester filters, certified by BIA Berufsgenossenschaftliches Institut für Arbeitssicherheit, providing a filtration efficiency of 1µ. These filters can be customized for specific applications. Additionally, the vacuum cleaners offer various filter options, such as anti-static filters to prevent electrostatic charges, NOMEX filters capable of withstanding high temperatures (up to 482°F), Teflon-coated filters for working with wet materials, and filters treated with PTFE nanotechnology to handle the most challenging dust.
The industrial vacuums come equipped with a manual filter cleaning system, allowing for easy and effective shaking of the filter using the lever located on top of the vacuum. Alternatively, an automatic filter cleaning system can be configured based on demand. Options include jet pulse cleaning, electro-pneumatic piston filter shakers, or electrical filter shakers.
Depureco’s Puma vacuum cleaners feature a practical and robust 46-gallon container, fitted with a release system for convenient collection and disposal of vacuumed materials. To facilitate handling, the container is equipped with four castor wheels mounted on reinforced supports, ensuring easy maneuverability even when carrying several pounds of material. Additionally, a kit is available on-demand for handling and unloading the container using a forklift, providing further convenience and efficiency.
The suction unit utilizes a side channel blower with a direct coupling mechanism between the motor and impeller. This configuration ensures efficient operation and suction power. To prioritize safety during operation, the side channel blower is equipped with a built-in safety valve, eliminating the need for regular maintenance while guaranteeing uninterrupted work in a completely safe manner. Additionally, the blower features a metal silencer that effectively reduces noise levels, promoting a quieter working environment.
The filtration system is ensured by an M class polyester filter, designed to effectively capture particles during operation. The unique star shape of the filter allows for continuous airflow even when it becomes dirty, maintaining optimal suction performance. The fabric used in the filter is classified as M Class according to BIA | EN 60335-2-69 standards. This classification signifies that the filter has the ability to stop particles as small as 1 micron, providing crucial protection for both the blower and the operator working in the vicinity of the vacuum cleaner.
The purpose of the tangential inlet is to facilitate the smooth movement of material into the bin. Within the chamber, a robust metal cyclone is securely welded, significantly reducing the entry speed of the material. As a result, the material directly falls into the bin without causing any damage to the filter. This efficient design ensures effective protection of the filter and minimizes the risk of clogging.
The collected material is stored in a painted container that features a sturdy metal handle, allowing the bin to be easily detached from the machine. With the inclusion of 4 swiveling wheels, the bin can be effortlessly maneuvered and emptied. Each wheel is reinforced to ensure optimal stability during handling, providing a secure and reliable transportation experience.
