Stop letting sludge slow down your shop.
When abrasive slurry settles, basic pump-out stops being enough. Depureco gives waterjet shops a high-vacuum sludge removal system built for water, spent abrasive, and dense tank sludge that slows cleanout and ties up production.
This application is not about free liquid. It is about the heavy mix that collects in the tank: water, abrasive residue, fines, and dense sludge that gets harder to move the longer it sits. The right vacuum setup needs strong vacuum, solid-liquid separation, and a discharge path that does not turn cleanout into another slow step.
For this application, the strongest fit is the RAM OIL 1000 AV paired with a 153 gal tiltable pre-separator. The vacuum provides the pull needed for difficult sludge recovery, while the pre-separator uses a metal grid to split solids from liquids before discharge. This gives waterjet operators a more practical cleanout path when slurry is too heavy for lighter sump-cleaning equipment.
The RAM OIL 1000 AV is the largest and most powerful machine in Depureco’s sump-vacuum range. Its rotary vane platform is built around very high continuous vacuum, which is what makes it a stronger solution for heavier sludge and more difficult cleanouts than lighter coolant vacuums designed mainly for freer-flowing liquid recovery.
Tell us the tank size, the sludge load, and how often cleanout is needed. We’ll help narrow the right setup for water, abrasive slurry, settled sludge, and harder tank cleanouts that need more than a basic sump vacuum.
