The RAM OIL 250 is an oil and swarf sump vacuum designed for vacuuming, separating, and recovering oil mixed with metal chips, sludge, and machining residue from tanks and machine sumps. Built for demanding industrial maintenance, it combines strong suction with integrated liquid discharge so operators can remove waste while recovering filtered coolant for reuse or disposal.
The system includes a 66-gallon liquid tank and an 18-gallon separator basket, giving it the capacity to handle heavier sump-cleaning jobs without constant interruption. A side channel blower provides strong, continuous suction, while a 150-micron PPL filter helps separate fine solids from the liquid stream for more efficient coolant recovery. An optional disposable TNT filter is also available when a different filtration approach is preferred.
A key advantage of the RAM OIL 250 is its ability to vacuum liquids and sludge while using the integrated immersion pump to discharge filtered liquids. This makes it a practical coolant recovery vacuum for machine shops and metalworking plants that want to reduce manual sump cleaning and return machines to service faster.
To simplify solids handling, the machine uses a tilting hopper and discharge system that allows filtered residue to be unloaded directly without manual lifting of a heavy container. Two electrical level indicators automatically stop suction when the tank reaches maximum capacity, helping prevent overflow and supporting safer operation during longer cleanout cycles.
The result is a more efficient machine sump vacuum for oil, coolant, sludge, and swarf recovery in CNC shops, machining centers, and metalworking environments where faster maintenance and liquid reuse matter.

The RAM OIL 250 uses a side channel blower to generate strong, continuous suction for oil, coolant, sludge, and swarf recovery. This gives the machine a stronger industrial-duty profile for sump cleaning than lighter wet vacuums.

Recovered liquid passes through a 150-micron PPL filter that helps separate fine solid particles from the coolant stream, making the filtered liquid more suitable for reuse. A disposable TNT filter is also available for alternate filtration needs.

The tilting hopper includes a metal mesh basket and filtration stage that help separate chips and heavier solids from recovered liquid before discharge. This makes the machine more useful for metalworking applications where swarf separation is critical.

An integrated immersion pump allows filtered liquids to be discharged while suction operations continue. Automatic level sensors help stop intake at maximum capacity and interrupt discharge at minimum level for more controlled operation.
