The DF 40 SP ORD LOC is a high-airflow combustible dust collector configured for source capture of fine airborne dust in ordinary or unclassified industrial locations. A 6.2 HP, 480 V three-phase fan supports extraction from production machinery, hoods, and properly configured pickup points. Four antistatic polyester M-class cartridges provide 18,600 in² of primary filter area, while the automatic SP reverse-air system cleans the cartridges in sequence to help maintain airflow during dust loading. Compressed air is required for the SP system and is not supplied as standard.
A grounded configuration supports static-control requirements, and collected material is retained in a detachable 17-gal bin. Optional filtration and collection configurations should be identified accurately by quote. Final suitability depends on the material, process conditions, documented area classification, connected hose and accessories, and facility-specific combustible-dust requirements.

A 6.2 HP, 480 V three-phase electric fan delivers the high-volume airflow required for industrial source capture through extraction arms, hoods, and direct machine connections. Inlet configuration should be matched to the required airflow and pickup design.

Four antistatic polyester cartridge filters provide 18,600 in² of primary filtration area. The cartridge configuration is M Class under EN 60335-2-69 and is designed for sustained fine-dust loading in demanding industrial collection applications.

The unit is UL certified, ensuring compliance with recognized safety standards for industrial equipment. Its conformity has been verified in accordance with UL 2011, NFPA 79, and UL 508A, confirming adherence to strict electrical and machinery safety requirements. The certification also includes CSA C22.2 No. 14 for Canada, supporting safe use across North American markets.

The ORD LOC configuration uses grounding and antistatic filtration to support static-control requirements for qualified ordinary-location applications. Final suitability must be confirmed against the collected material, process conditions, connected accessories, and documented facility area classification.

Automatic reverse jet cleaning system. Antistatic M class filter (EN-60335-2-69), 3x Polyester filter cartridges, 14,000 in² filter surface.
