Not every machining cleanup problem calls for the same vacuum. At IMTS, Depureco will demonstrate two different approaches based on what is actually being collected.
Sump Vacuums
The RAM OIL 280 MP is designed around liquid-heavy CNC maintenance where coolant, cutting fluid, chips, swarf, and settled material need to be removed from machine sumps.
Its recovery and separation workflow gives shops a more purpose-built alternative to manually pumping, scooping, or handling tank contents in multiple steps. For facilities regularly cleaning CNC sumps, the goal is a faster and more organized maintenance process with equipment designed around both the liquid and solid material involved.
Metal Chip & Swarf Vacuums
The M100 TAN industrial vacuum represents the dry side of machining cleanup.
For applications dominated by metal chips, shavings, swarf, and other production debris, a dry-material industrial vacuum can provide a much better fit than equipment intended primarily for sump and liquid recovery.
Simple rule: if coolant and liquid recovery control the job, start with a sump vacuum. If dry chips and machining debris are the primary material, start with a metal chip and swarf vacuum.
Evaluate fine, combustible, or reactive metal dust separately. Final equipment selection depends on the actual material, particle size, wet or dry condition, collection method, and facility requirements.
