This aluminum shavings vacuum test shows the Depureco PUMA 20 SP recovering dry aluminum drill shavings and machining chips in a Depureco Labs material test. The setup used an antistatic hose and a 50 mm conic nozzle to pull loose drill chips, curled shavings, and small metalworking scrap into the vacuum.

Aluminum Shavings Vacuum Test Setup

The PUMA 20 SP is a heavy three-phase industrial vacuum built for demanding dry material recovery. In this test, the TAN / tangential inlet design and curved inlet deflector help guide incoming aluminum chips and shavings through the cyclone path before they drop into the collection bin.
