M100 TAN Metal Shavings Vacuum Test for Metal Fabrication Scrap
A metal fabrication shop sent Depureco USA circular steel cutouts, steel slugs, aluminum drill spiral strands, and mixed dry metal scrap for a real Depureco Labs material recovery test.
In this test, the M100 TAN collects heavier steel cutouts along with long aluminum drilling strands and loose metal shavings. This type of material is common around drill presses, fabrication benches, cutting tables, machining areas, and general metalworking cleanup zones.
The goal of the test was simple: see how the M100 TAN handles mixed dry shop debris that is awkward to sweep, sharp to handle by hand, and difficult for light-duty vacuums to collect consistently.
For facilities dealing with dry metal chips, shavings, steel slugs, aluminum drill spirals, or mixed fabrication scrap, material testing helps confirm whether the vacuum, hose diameter, tool setup, filtration, and collection method match the actual cleanup job.
If your process creates fine aluminum dust, combustible metal dust, or reactive metal powder, vacuum selection should be reviewed separately for grounding, filtration, and hazard requirements.
