Aluminum Swarf Vacuum Test with the Depureco PUMA Series
A customer sent Depureco USA thick aluminum birdnests, long spiral swarf, and machining chips to see how the PUMA Series would handle difficult CNC machining waste in a real vacuum test.
Using a 70 mm hose and 70 mm straight pipe with an extension handle, the PUMA pulled in and broke apart the tangled aluminum swarf extremely fast. This type of high-flow setup is built for bulky metal chips, long stringy turnings, shavings, and dry machining scrap that can be difficult to collect with smaller industrial vacuums.
The PUMA Series is a high-power, three-phase industrial vacuum line for heavy-duty material recovery, production cleanup, and machine-side collection. For CNC shops, machining facilities, foundries, metal fabrication plants, and heavy manufacturing environments, this kind of test helps show whether a vacuum has enough airflow, inlet size, and collection power for real metal chip recovery.
