This Depureco Labs test puts the M100 TAN industrial vacuum to work on wetted metal chips and machining swarf using two different hose configurations. The test was designed to show how the M100 TAN handles wet metal-chip recovery while changing the pickup setup between demonstrations.
M100 TAN Wet Metal Chip Test Setup
The first demonstration uses the M100 TAN with a 3-inch polyurethane hose and a rubber-coated conic nozzle to recover the wetted metal chips.
For the second demonstration, the setup switches to a 2-inch hose. Testing both configurations on the same type of material provides a practical look at how different hose and pickup arrangements can be used when recovering wet machining debris and metal chips.
What This Metal Chip Vacuum Test Evaluates
Metal-chip recovery applications can involve more than dry shavings and loose swarf. This Depureco Labs test focuses specifically on wetted metal chips, allowing the two M100 TAN setups to be evaluated on the material shown in the video rather than relying on specifications alone.
The video gives machine shops and metalworking facilities a direct look at the M100 TAN working with wetted machining debris using both the larger 3-inch setup and the smaller 2-inch hose configuration.
Metal Chip & Swarf Recovery Applications
This type of cleanup is relevant to machine shops, CNC machining operations, metal fabrication facilities, and other metalworking environments where chips, shavings, swarf, and wet machining debris need to be collected.
